Appointment today

I am almost 35 weeks! ANYWAY...
It went fine...my BP was 132/70 or something like that. Carter's HR was 140. I am still down 5 pounds from pre-pregnancy Next appt. is June 29th, and he will do my first internal check, as well as the Strep B test.
I was induced 5 days early with Kade, and it was relatively short. 8 hours from start to finish. If I hadn't had to push for 2 hours, it would have been even shorter. I brought that up and asked how far apart contractions should be (if I go into labor on my own before the due date) before I call and head on in. At first he said 3-5 minutes, but then he said "wait, how far away do you live, again?" I told him it was an hour drive, and he said "Oh! Well, all bets are off then! If I were you, when contractions get regular and 10 minutes apart, I'd be scared not to come on in". He also said he could induce me again if I wanted (Richard expressed a lot of anxiety about not making it last time), but I guess I will wait and see how I'm doing at my internal checks. I didn't ask, but I'm pretty sure Carter is head-down now (he was lying transverse a lot)

Glad you had a good appointment and things are well. Glad that he isn't taking any chances with you being an hour away and advise you to come in when they are 1o min apart. We were an hour and a half away and I was told to come in when they were 3-5 min apart when pregnant last time .

I seriously can't believe how fast your pregnancy went! Just a few more wks!

Well, I think it has more to do with the fact that my first labor was pretty quick, and this one (statistically) should be faster.
