Diamond Member Group: Moderators Posts: 16,534 Member No.: 235 Joined: 30-July 03	I went to the gym this morning and everyone was standing outside. I thought maybe they were getting ready for their bootcamp b/c part of that is outside. Then one of the instructors came up to me as I was making my way to the door. She told me the gym is closed, EMPTY, no equipment, no phones, no computers, NOTHING! I was just there yesterday! She said "I teach classes here and I knew nothing about it! Supposedly corporate is going to come out in a week and reopen. I highly doubt it. I've not been happy with them so far so I just called and cancelled my membership. They knew nothing about the closing when I cancelled. Now I'm searching for a new gym to call home. They just opened an awesome gym here in town with an indoor and outdoor pool. I'm going to check into that deal. But it's going to cost me initiation and all that crap. Ugh!

I'm sure the owners didn't pay and it's a franchise so they seized all their belongings. I've only seen the owners twice and I'm there pretty much everyday. They came out at the first of the year and made some changes. To be honest, it's been a mess since I joined. Remember the deal with me not being charged for an entire year??? OMG! How do they miss that? And they said it "happens all the time" Nothing was serviced on a regular basis and they had a lot of turnover with employees. I'm certain since everything is gone that they missed quite a few payments.

I liked that gym a lot, but one day it just closed....no warning. the next nearest one was not far from where I worked at the time, so i went there. When I had jay and stopped working, it was way to far to go to work out.
