Gold Member Group: Validating Posts: 4,686 Member No.: 8,607 Joined: 9-February 07	I have a mammogram tomorrow - my first one - and I am convinced they will find a lump.....I don't have alot of reason to think they would - we have very little cancer in my family but I do have a 1st cousin on my Mom's side who had breast cancer at 47 Anyone else who has had one - did you feel the same way before yours??? I am scared to death - My mom called me this am to tell me she is coming with me Thank god... --------------------

You can stay there and get them - I think the whole thing takes about 3 hours - but I am not leaving until I get the results....I would be a mess....

Yep I was nervous as all crap ......... I had my 1st mammo a year ago, because I manually felt a lump. (it turned out to be nothing). The whole thing is un-nerving, but everyone's right. It's the right thing to do, however scary it is. Good luck!
