I'm MISERABLE! I usually don't take drugs but being a WAHM to my DD is too much! I can't call in sick (the boss is a meanie rolling_smile.gif ) and I need relief. This cold started last night and my nose is stuffy, my ears ache and my throat is sore. WWAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! bawling.gif

What can I take that won't get passed on to Katherine?

Thanks in advance!

Well you can take anything you could take while PG, which means sudafed is OK. Decongestants can cause slight decrease in milk supply though.

Here's some info:

You might also want to call the doc or your Ped and see what they recommend.

when I had a cold I was told I could take anything over the counter as long as it was the non-drowsey. They said no matter what you take a small (very small) amount will be passed through the breast milk, and if your worried about it then about 1-2 hours after taking it pump and dump, that will decrease the amount recieved in the BM.
