These are about a week old already, but I haven't had time to download the newer pics off my camera yet. This is her at Benjamin's big brother party. And showing off the blanket that Auntie Kol made her. and having a little play time. she is still all skin and bones! She's gaining weight fast, but she has a long way to go before her clothes fit right!

She did it as a suprise for me. I acutally made the suzie zoo one that Alexis is laying on in the last picture.

I can totally relate to the skin and bones, Matthew was just like that til he started gaining, all his clothes fell off him. He lived in undershirts for a longtime before clothes fit properly. They really aren't hard. THey are kinda like paint by numbers. You just so what the directions tell you to do. The thing is that they take a REALLY long time! the one I did took me 9 months to do with a toddler in the house. The one I made for The Boy before he was born took me about 6 months. I end up getting SO SICK of the blanket that by the time I finally finish it I can hardly stand to look at it!

I usually make them as baby gifts, that way I get the enjoyment out of making htem, but don't ever have to look at them again!

That is a really cute idea...making those blankets for your babies!

My cousin and his wife are expecting a baby boy in September, and I got a Quilt In A Day kit, it came with all the stuff I need to make the quilt and supposed to be pretty easy. It's going to be really cute if I get the guts up to actually do it!
