Through the night they had to bump up his oxygen from 1/2 Liter to 2 liters.

The Dr. came in this morning and decided to turn off the oxygen to see how he would do on room air, and he is at 94/95 when he is awake.

When he is sleeping is another story, right now he is sleeping and is at 89. sad.gif
The nurse is A SLACKER and hasn't come in here to turn on his oxygen yet, but I know he will probably need again tonight.
So we will be here at least until Friday if he needs the oxygen tonight. Because he has to go through a full night with no dips before he can go home.

I am ready to go home. We are in isolation so it is no fun. Not to mention hospital food SUCKS. sad.gif

Please continue your prayers that we get out of here soon.

Hate to be a party pooper, but if he is needing 2 liters at night, I doubt if he will go home tomorrow. Not that its a lot of oxygen, but generally they aren't able to go from 2 all the way to nothing in one night. sad.gif Sorry you are stuck in isolation. This too shall pass, and you will be going home before you know it. hug.gif

every kid is different, and so is your hospitals protocol, and I have no idea how he is medically, but I would say at least 2 more nights, probably more like 3, but that is just a rough guestimation of what I would normally see at MY hospital. Is his breathing okay?
