Mom is down, Not impressed

First thing she says when she gets off the bus, oh my you gained a lot of weight. You're gaining and I'm lossing.

Umm actually MOTHER, I lost since the last time you saw me How f*%@^#$ nice is that. I couldn't believe it. I was so happy to see her to. She always has to say something like that though. Did I say holy S*** look at your head full of grey and white, or look your teeth are all gone, ect ect NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

Sorry for the vent, I just had to share with someone my disappointment. Things are going well for now, besides the fact that she never listens to a bloody thing I say. I had to tell her half a dozen times that the colour we were painting on Robbie's room today was only a primer, not the paint. She couldn't grasp why it was coloured and not white.

I'm sorry she has to say things like that to you. I think some people have to do that just to make themselves feel big, kwim?

I'm sorry Marie. She sounds like my Dad. He had me crying when I was pregnant once because he told me I looked fat. Hope the rest of the visit goes better for you.
