Well, everything went well!

We discussed my issues:

* Contractions
* left arm going numb
* Sleepless nights
* Blood Pressure

*********************************

he said since the consistant contractions had stopped, then he didn't want to do an internal as it may stir things back up. So I don't know if I'm dialated or what...guess in the end it doesn't really matter if I am or not or rather whether I know about it I guess I should say.

My left arm going to sleep, he thinks is caused by her position since it only happens sometimes.

ahhh the sleepless night..seriously ya'll, I've been getting about 2 hours sleep every night for the last 2 months. I don't know why. It's like once I get up for my 1st bathroom trip, then I don't go back to sleep. I can't. I just lay there and think and wish I could sleep. So he gave me Ambien and OMG...I slept like a ROCK last night I didn't even wake up to pee all night!!!!!!!! The dog woke me up at 4am to let her out and so I went to the bathroom then..but I feel FABULOUS today..for the 1st time in a LONG LONG TIME! GOD BLESS THE MAKERS OF AMBIEN!

My BP was somewhat borderline..high for me, but not out of the ballpark. It was like 140/80. My normal BP is about 110/50(in that range).
he's not too concerned since it's not sky high like it was a couple of weeks ago.
and my urine is clear of protein so that means no pre-ecclampsia.

and.............he was about ready to leave the room and I was like...Wait a minute!
and I said, "What would be a fair timeframe in this pregnancy for you and I to discuss you taking me out of work?" he said,"Well when did you have in mind?" I laughed and said, " Well...as soon as possible!" and he looked down at my chart and said,"Well we certainly have enough minor issues to warrant taking you out if you want, your insurance will just want some sort of medical documentation so you'll get paid and we have that with you BP and then of course the backaches you must be suffering at work ha ha...do you want me to take you out beginning the 1st of next week or when?" I replied," uhhhh today would be FANTASTIC!" he said..."okay...don't deal!" Whew hew I'm out of work now through delivery and then I haven't decided how long I'll take after I have her..I know for certain it won't be before January.

Baby allie is doing fine, her heartbeat yesterday was 142.

Sounds like things are going great. thumb.gif

Wow, I wish my insurance would have covered all the times I had to take off for bedrest. Even when my doc wanted to put me on full bedrest insurance wouldn't have covered it, that's why we did moderate bedrest meaning I went to work but couldn't do anything once I got home. wacko.gif

Karen one of the benefits we have through work is Short term disability through Liberty Mutual. If at any point in the year I am sick(like when I had the flu in march) and I miss 8 or more consecutive days (including weekends) and I have a doctor who approves me being out, then I just call Liberty Mutual and open a claim and they contact my doctor and get my information as to why I am out and as long as it is legit, then they pay my salary while I'm out. After a certain time frame(I believe 16 weeks) it cuts back to only paying 60% of my salary.
