For sugar cookies that I can roll out and have the kids do the whole cookie cutter thing. I have tried several and none of them are the type that can be rolled out. And its driving me insane. Anyone care to share one.

Do you refrigerate it before you roll it? Most recipes require you to refrigerate it for a few hours before you try to roll it.

In addition to this, putting flour on the rolling pin and rolling surface helps immensely if it's sticking. Roll small amounts at a time and keep the rest chilled while you work. -------------------- Cheryl, Olivia's mom

Don't feel bad, every year I say I'm never making them again. I HATE baking sugar cookies for some reason, I think because they're kind of delicate and burn easily and I can't multi task when I'm baking them |
