This would make accessing the menus much easier after scrolling through long threads. I am guilty too!!! and getting frustrated the whole time. I had no idea!!!

I found out (just now) that the End button will bring you to the bottom. Especially if you are playing with those little blue arrows and forgot to read that last post.
