Ashley and I both love Spinach Artichoke Dip, but I haven't found a good recipe to make it at home yet... or maybe I am doing something wrong?

Let me know if you try a spin.dip recipe on there and like it. I tried a couple recipes from there and didn't care for them. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

This is my friends recipe

1 8oz package of cream cheese,
1 can of drained and chopped artichoke hearts,
1 pkg frozen spinach cooked and drained
1/4 cup mayo,
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese,
1 tbsp minced garlic,
1 tsp basil,
1 1/4 c mozzarella cheese,
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature. Cream together mayo, cheeses, and seasonings. Mix well. Add the hearts and spinach; mix well again. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until top is browned. Top with handful of mozzarella of cheese and put back in oven till cheese melts.

My MIL makes a fabulous one but she always says she doesn't use a recipe. I think she just doesn't want to share it tongue.gif

Anyway, from what she HAS told me it's like the one Naomi posted except it uses sour cream in place of the mayo and more garlic.

Actually, the marketing company I work for recently started a campaign for Dean's Dip's pretzel dip, and on their site there is a great Spinach Artichoke dip recipe that I tried last weekend and really enjoyed as it was so deliciously creamy:

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 8
Ingredients:
10 ounces frozen chopped spinach
1 (14-ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained
8 ounces cream cheese, cut into cubes
1 (12-ounce) tub Dean’s Cheddar Cheese Pretzel Dip
Choice of pretzels, toasted baguette slices, vegetables, pita chips, crackers, bagel chips or tortilla chips for dipping
Directions:
Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain well, squeezing and pressing spinach to remove most of the moisture. Place spinach in 1 ½-quart microwave-safe dish. Chop artichoke hearts; add to spinach along with cream cheese cubes. Microwave on high 1 minute; stir well to combine.

Stir in Dean’s Cheddar Cheese Pretzel Dip. Microwave on high at 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until ingredients are blended and warmed through. Serve immediately with choice of dippers.
