First of all, AGH I can't believe I'm posting in the TEEN forum for Nikka now ohmy.gif

Anyhoo, of course we'll get her clothes, but I need some other ideas. She is getting a wii and some games from her other grandparents, has a phone and ipod and all the other typical teen gadgets. I'm at a loss for what to get her besides clothes blink.gif

A spa day or just a manicure/pedicure?? What is she into..is she a girly girl, into sports or computers? How about lessons of some sort or a membership to something?

She's getting an itunes gift card in her stocking. I like the mani/pedi idea...she's not super girly but always has her nails painted. She likes the really funky stuff on her nails, so thats a good idea. She's one of those girly tomboys laugh.gif

I like the mani/pedi idea too.

What about a camera and one of those all-in-one scrapbook kits ? My neice is 13, and she likes to make scrapbooks mostly of her friends. Or, what about a diary and some kind of keepsake chest?

Then, when all else fails -- there's always the mall gift certificate.

Sorry, I am no help. It's been way too long since I was 13. blush.gif

Games for the wii or a gift certificate to Best Buy so she can buy them herself. I got my niece a gift card to Hollister. Kids that age are so picky and particular about their "stuff", if you really want to make them happy, let them pick it out themselves. Not much fun for the giver, but it is for the receiver.

I KNOW, her birthday was just this last weekend and I could totally tell which gifts she was less than thrilled about, which was a bit of a suprise since I've always been able to nail it....but that was before she turned 13 rolling_smile.gif

I was going to say even one of those docks for the iPod, so she can play music from the iPod in her room without using the headphones?
