Diamond Member Group: Moderators Posts: 18,627 Member No.: 249 Joined: 28-August 03	has anyone read these books? i saw the hoopla on the news about the movie coming out and can never pass up a good vampire story i'm almost done the first book and love it! it's been a while since i read a book and even longer since i really enjoyed one. keeps you on the edge of your seat and is funny. two for me -------------------- mama to Jacob, James, Jade, Kaleigh and Riley!! She just saw the movie and she said it was good (she's a teenager I don't think I'm going to get much more out of her than that) I'm definately going to have to borrow them from her. --------------------

I can't say enough good things about them...I really became obsessed! But, I'm not touching the movie. I've had friends who said they wished they would have never watched it. I'm fine with how things remain in my imagination.

I just finished it and am reading the first chapter of the next one---in the back of the first. This was never my type of book but I gave it a chance and 20 pages in I WAS HOOKED!! I loved it and was intrigued all the way through. It was a very fast read despite the almost 500 pages. Then I heard Ryan Seacrest read a few sections of the books on his afternoon radio show (I'm forced to listen to it at work) and it sounded like a really badly written romance novel. But maybe he was just picking bad parts to read?
