I'm so very sad...

Gold Member Group: Members Posts: 3,197 Member No.: 2,245 Joined: 21-July 05	Today is the first official day of Waylon being weaned. The last time he nursed was about 5 yesterday afternoon. I thought I was all ready for this, but right now I am sitting here crying. I know it's time, but now that one special thing that was just ours is gone forever. I can remember him first nursing the day he was born like it was yesterday, and now he's 13 1/2 months old and no longer needs me. I'm so proud of him because he has only asked for it briefly a couple of times today and I was able to divert his attention with his cup, a snack, or even just a toy. He was only asking for it the last month or so when he was really hungry or when he was getting sleepy, so I knew it was time.... I am just going to miss it so much. He's such a big boy now. And honestly I know I'll be glad to have the opportunity for him to spend the night off some so me and hubby can have our time, too. Thanks for listening to be whine.... --------------------
