It all came back negative for allergies!
but then why is he so cranky?

has anyone else had trouble transitioning from alumentim to a whole protein foods?

It took me almost two months to transition Olivia off alimentum to Soy and Dylan took awhile too - I mixed the two adding an oz of the soy each week until we got to all soy it seemed to work better - same with the transition to milk when they got off formula........

christine,do you think that it took a while due to taste or did their bodies have trouble adjusting to the whole proteins?

That is GREAT news!! I bet you are so relieved. I would talk with your doc about transitioning. I wouldn't take any chances personally. Even if he tested clear of whole proteins, I would still make sure to do it very gradually. Maybe even the allergist would give you good advice on how to introduce it. GL
