Question about periods after C-section

mom of 4 wonderful kids!!! Group: Members Posts: 1,333 Member No.: 11,288 Joined: 17-May 07	Ok, Jake is 3 months old....I have had 2 regular periods. But this month it has been weird...really really light...almost nothing at all. I have my tubes tied. You don't think..... Nah, You don't think I could have gotten prego? Do you just sometimes have really really lite periods after a c sometimes???? --------------------

Gold Member Group: Validating Posts: 4,686 Member No.: 8,607 Joined: 9-February 07	I don't want to be the bearer of potential bad news but I just made an appt for my tubal - my OB told me the only two tubals he did that failed were ones during a c-section - now that could just be his stroke of luck but...... I always had regular periods when I wasn't on BC - after my c-section they were a bit different - not in timing but in flow...... --------------------

Had a c-section back in June of 2006 and I sitll haven't had AF back yet. A few days ago I had a little spotting and then today, nothing. But I did have some really bad cramps early this morning. I don't know what's going on. I certainly don't think I'm pregnant, but the thought did cross my mind. My boobs are also a bit sore. I have been on and off BC (the progestin only kind) for about a year. My OB just told me that this pill can actually cause you to just have a very light period or no period at all. So I'm thinking that's my case, but I have been off of it now for about a month, so I'm still wondering what's going on. I did have bad cramping, so I don't know what is going on. UGH I guess it was just a lite period. I have 4 kids! I mean, no way do I want a 5th! If it happened, well....then....I would deal with it but still....I don't want to try for it ya know. --------------------
