Andrew was drooling a lot for a while, but I knew that was because he just didn't know what to do with all his saliva. That has gotten better but now I think he may be teething. He has been waking early from his naps and when I go in there he is chomping on his fists and his eyes are still closed. So to me, he's still tired but his gums are bothering him. I do remember with Thomas he started teething early and didn't get his 1st tooth till nearly 8 months....oh please tell me we're not repeating this with Andrew. He is soooo whiny, yes whiny (grunting) allllll day long. I have teething tablets that are hit and miss and I put Orajel on my grocery list.

So has anyone else's baby teethed this early?

Kylie had her first tooth by 4 months, so yes she teethed early. I'd say it's quite possible he's teething wink.gif

I know a lot of people whose babies teethed as early as that, but both of mine got theirs pretty late - Andrew was 8 months and Allie was 11 months. They both started teething a few months before they actually got their first tooth though, like Thomas. No fun!
