I have never had any before, so I am not sure what it feels like but this morning I woke up with major pain in the tush area. It hasn't gone away. I know that I have read thay they are common late in pregnancy, but am I supposed to live like this for the next 7 weeks?? I may not make it!! It really hurts!!! I go to the doc on Tuesday, hopefully, he'll help

Don't be embarrassed.....Try some tucks pads or something for hemroids...If the pain persist after a couple days....go see a doctor.....DON'T let the pain just get worse and worse and not see a doctor because of it being embarrassing..Remember ...they have seen it all. I hope your butt feels better girly.

I agree there is nothing to be embarrassed about!!! It happens to many of us!!

Try upping your fiber intake and drink prune juice. Also try not staying in the sitting position for too long at one time. The tuck pads are very helpful too.

hug.gif sorry that happened. hopefully the doc can give you something to clear it up soon. and don't be embarrassed... there is no such thing as modesty when it comes to pg and bring a baby into this world wink.gif

Definelty very common, don't you be one bit embarrassed! I agree with other girls, but you may want to call the doctor tomm, they can give you something sooner because the longer you wait the worse they can get. You can also get some cream over the counter at walmart too with tucks pads, ice and soaking in the tub...I hope you get feeling better soon! wink.gif

Fortunately I've escaped them, but like everyone else said, DON'T be emabarrassed!! A lot of women get them! Also, it may not be hemroids at all, as you get closer to delivery and baby locks into position, it can cause a LOT of pressure and pain in the butt region!! blush.gif

Oh Edie I totally feel your pain. hug.gif Please don't feel embarassed about it though. There's several things that you can do to help them though, so that you avoid letting them get as bad as mine (which are still bleeding BTW rolleyes.gif )

Increase your fiber intake (whole wheat products, benefiber, apples, broccoli, etc)
Exercise everyday (especially walking or swimming)
Go to the restroom immediately and don't try to hold it back (KWIM?) wink.gif
Get some Preparation H (if they become itchy or burning)
Get some Tucks pads to help with the swelling and discomfort

If worse comes to worse, ask your Dr. for some Hydrocortizone Suppositories to help with the swelling internally.

I hope you feel better soon sweetie. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif
