Got to see the baby bean today!, Had my Ob physical, pic included...

Nothing like having a sister... Group: Moderators Posts: 4,940 Member No.: 212 Joined: 30-June 03	So far so good. All of the bloodwork that I had done at my last visit came back all right. The doc had me do a glucose test today and have blood drawn for the cystic phibrosis (sp?) screening. This is not something that is in my family, but it is always good to have this stuff checked. Of course I had to have that complimetary pelvic exam, but I actually got to see the baby today. The doc wheeled in a portable u/s machine and there was the little bean. He pointed out this little blip on the screen which was my baby's heart beating. It wasn't a hightech one so the pic I am going to include isn't the best. He told me that the babies size is about 10- 11 weeks, so I guess they were right. This is not something that they do all the time, but he thinks it's something fun for the first visit. It was so reassuring to see that little heart beating. Next appt. is in 4 weeks. I keep everyone posted. Attached Image
