No school today!, Too cold!

Unregistered	Quentin brought home a note from the principal saying school was cancelled today because of the cold. Right now, it's -30 F, and with the windchill, it's like -40 to -60 F with the wind gusts. Man, I LOVE winter in Minnesota ! It will be nice having them here during the day. Ethan misses them SO much when they are at school. But there will be no playing outside today, though ! I'm not even going to let them get the mail; it's out by the road (rural area), and our driveway is kinda long.

They brought the note home after school saying school was cancelled the next day.

Sorry I didn't make that clear enough

! I was just excited to have them home; it seems like I never get to see them enough. Then their bus driver called me the next day saying that school was called off again.

Unfortunately for them, they will have to go back on Monday, though

. It's actually going to get above 0 F!

Last week we had temps that were -35 fahrenheit without calculating the windchill which when factored in brought the temperature down to 50-60 below zero. It was so cold that you couldn't walk outside without your mouth covered because it hurt your lungs to breathe the cold air in. They cancelled school for 3 days, pipes were frozen and cars wouldn't start etc. It was awful trying to keep Cameron inside... --------------------
