Seems like it was yesterday that I was sleeping in that recliner with a child who would sleep no other way but on me in that recliner and I started a huge debate about letting an 8 week old CYO to sleep (or in my case not really CYO - but helping him learn to fall asleep on his own) and I was wondering at some points why I turned my life upside down again with a newborn (which of course I never regretted doing just wondered why?) and now all of a sudden -
Dylan is going to be 4 months old, he is a silly little interactive thing who takes good naps and sleeps 12-14 hours a nite for me with not a peep out of him......................... And noooooow I am realizing it is just going to continue to slip away...... On the fun part - we are going to start some oatmeal - while he is sleeping great at nite he is HUNGRY HUNGRY during the day and with his reflux I have a hard time getting him to drink more than 6 /2 to maybe 7 ozs. without it just coming back up - he eats almost every 2 1/2 to 3 hours or so....I think the food will be better for him - a little heavier, etc. that being said - we will start pretty slow so that he doesn't drop off on the formula yet.... It does go so fast, and it seems like every day just speeds up a little more
I'm glad he's sleeping better and good luck with the oatmeal! |
