Evan came EARLY!, sorry I've been out of touch....

Member Group: Members Posts: 91 Member No.: 3,109 Joined: 14-January 06	Well, on May 12 I went to the doc and he said he was putting me on bedrest because my blood pressure'd been high the last few visits. Then the next MORNING, a doctor on call said to come on in, and most likely I was having my baby. Pre-eclampsia. (sp). Boy was I scared! Evan Robert was born around 6:10 pm that night. He was 33 weeks.He was 3 lbs 14 ounces. He spent some time in the NICU in the city, and then was transferred to a lighter care "special care nursery" at a hospital closer to home. He came home last Thursday, and now weighs over 5 pounds! It was really hard leaving him in the hosptial in town, so when they transferred us we found they had beds for boarder moms, so I stayed with him his last few days in the hospital. Now he's home and he is so beautiful! My MIL visited for a few days, and she took the 3 am feedings! :-) Wow, were we spoiled. Back to the routine tonight. I'll post pics when I get a chance. Amy
