I had my IUD removed, yesterday

I called yesterday to make the appt to have my iud removed...and my ob/gyn is only in the office on thursday mornings now...so the girl on the phone asked if I wanted to have it done today(meaning yesterday) so I was like um ya yes I do! Dh knew I was calling to schedule an appt, and he was very surprised when he woke up that afternoon and I told him I called and it was already out! I have not had a period in over 3 years since having the iud...so I do not know when I ovulate...but I should have a normal period now!! We'll see how it goes. Ya I didnt think Id get in to the ob that quickly, and it was such a simple procedure too.

If you have the mirena, which is what I have/had, you may get af a few days after you have it out, and then again at the normal time for whenever you were ovulating (since you still ovulate with the IUD). After that I regulated right away, and got pg the next month.
