Okay so we are going to start trying next month .. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to let him know (because he tells me at every app. to let him know when we decide) I hope he doesn't want me to come cause I really hate going and I had blood work done two weeks ago at his office and got checked AND started some vitamins SOO he should be happy So I want to know what I NEED to know, we didn't try for Alyssa she was a surprise so I'm pretty excited about actually trying for a baby I think I might feel a bit more prepared. I'm on a daily womans vit. and he said that I should take vit. E for some sharp pains I have been having in my breast (which i still have ). So I'm covered for vitamins at least until I get pregnant. And I need advice on quitting smoking, I'm really scared about that. Last time I quit was really hard and I know its going to be worse this time and I hope to NEVER start back again I'm tired of this awful habit I just wish it wasn't so hard to quit. I think that about covers it... oh any great websites to Share?? Can you tell I'm excited????? I have been dancing all evening I called my best friend (the one that lives in Texas!!) and she was SOOO excited I think she is going to come home when I get ready to have the baby so she can be with me!!!!

Same here, no advice but how exciting!
On the smoking, I don't know either....I had to really, really, really, really just want to quit, and that alone made it easier but I don't know how you get to that point. My mom swears by this stuff called Smoke Away, it's herbal and you take all these pills, she swore after two days she didn't even think about it. I fell off the wagon so I'm with you on needing to quit again The lung association has some info on their website too that may be helpful. |

My doctor had me start taking PreNatal vitamins as soon as I started trying to become pregnant. You should consider takine prenatal vitamins now because they have ALOT more in them than the ones you are currently taking.
For quitting smoking.... I quit about 6 years ago. I did a stepdown method. Ismoked less and less cigarettes until I was down to 1 a day and at that point it was easy to completely stop. Count how many cigarettes you have on a regular day. Then cut that in half for a couple of weeks. Then cut that amount in half for a couple of weeks, etc. For me it was much easier than stopping cod turkey. GOOD LUCK! -------------------- |

talked to my dr. office friday they said to go ahead and start taking prenatals from the store (which I have) and to "drop by" their offices and get tested to see if im immune to rubella (I think that was it) and if I'm not then they will give me a vaccination. I will hopefully do that wednesday since its an hour away I'm WAY excited and its getting closer to ovulation time
thanks again everyone!!! -------------------- |

I have heard good things about that, also wellbutrin. I would check to make sure that the stop smoking method you choose is safe for pregnancy. And good for you for taking this jump! you will not regret it. Just don't start up again. second hand smoke does more damage than you could know, even if you don't smoke around your children. You know the Respiratory therapist would have something to say... Here is some information and there is a 1-800 number at the bottom of the site. |

I love that tink's butt gets stuck. She is proportioned like me. Nothing on top, then all bottom. Best of luck on the smoking thing. I know its hard, okay, I have heard its hard, I have no personal experience with quitting, but I also know TONS of people who have quit, so its not impossible, and really, you are as strong as anyone else! you can do it. |

honestly neither have i, I always said I could quit if I really wanted to but when I actually started to want to quit (before we decided to have another baby) then I realized it really is an addiction, and I understand the commercials now. Tara lol alyssa loved it too she giggled and said "she is stuck in a box".... my child LOVES tinkerbell -------------------- |

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you! I would just say relax and let things happen naturally. As for the quitting smoking, there are a lot of different smoking aids out there. But I'm not sure if you can take any while you are trying to get pregnant, talk to you doctor and Good Luck!
