I am pleased as a Georgia Peach to be writing this post from the comfort of my own home!! (which is not located in Georgia but South Carolina).
We broke out on Wednesday! They had the oxygen turned off all day and the Dr. came in about 6 and said we could leave even though he was having some dips, it was nothing compared to what they were when we came in. I was under the impression that they wouldn't let him leave until he was at 95 for 24 hours without the oxygen. Luckily that wasn't the case . We spent all of yesterday recovering, neither of us slept a LICK in the hospital. So we spent most of yesterday sleeping!! He is still doing breathing treatments every 4 hours but I don't check his temperature or his blood pressue every 4 hours so he sleeps through them! We are hopeful that this case of RSV doesn't have any long term effects on him *asthma, wheezing*. Thank you all for your prayers through these past few days!! -------------------- Jessica

Tara,
you and me both! I didn't think they would let him go home until he had been off of oxygen for 24 hours and stayed above 95!! He is doing SPLENDID!! So I can't complain that they sent us home -------------------- Jessica
