Anyone have eye allergies? If so, what do you do for them? Are there some drops you can use?

I'm going crazy here. My eyes itch so bad!!! sad.gif My eye doctor told me earlier this year that I had allergies in my eyes, but they have never bothered me this bad. wacko.gif

I do. I get special drops from my allergist for my eyes. The regular OTC drops never helped them.

I've had eye allergies since I was 15... I use these drops called Similasan #2 for Allergy Eyes. My eye doctor reccomended them - you can buy them at Target or a drug store. They work pretty well...Visine and other brands sting my eyes too much.
The eye drops I use work pretty good for the itching but sometimes in the spring of fall it's really bad and I have to take some claritin or something too. wink.gif

Thanks guys!! smile.gif I will check into it. I think he actually gave me a prescription for some drops. I will have to dig it up. blush.gif It has been SO windy here this week. I assume that has a lot to do with it.

Thanks again!

Wow - there are a few of us that have eye allergies. I notice mine are worse when the weather starts to change. I have a prescription for drops (it's called Patanol). OTC's don't work for me either. I also have noticed that if I wear sunglasses when I am outside, it helps a lot. Not sure why that is.
