Sorry, not the best picture but you all will kind of get the idea. smile.gif

And here are the shoes I bought, I'm thinking they don't really go with this dress.
I'm not sure why I even bought them. I guess at the time I really liked them and thought they were cute. I guess I can always wear them with some else if they dont' work with the dress.

I love your dress!!! thumb.gif

I think those shoes are adorable but not with the dress....I think even a small heel would be dressier, if you don't wear heels at all I think you could find a sandal of some kind. I like the color though, I think any shade of brown would work!

Umm..I haven't worn anything with a heel for over 4 years now. blush.gif

I just don't get dressed up that often and if I do I like to wear just some that is flat.

Ok, I think I could find wear something had little bit of a heal on it. I will just have to go shoe shopping again.

I LOVE the dress and the shoes are cute but I agree they don't really "go" with the dress. Good luck with shoe shopping and try to be a bit adventurous tongue.gif

Thanks everyone for the comments on the dress it is nice.

I was really wanting find a dress to cover the ugly scar on my shoulder. I have had the scar since I was a baby. I guess the main thing is I just didn't want other people really to see it.

Nichole, I do like those shoes I will have to see if I can find something like them. I wish we had a payless here. But all of them are 2 hrs or more away. Oh, well guess I will have to try the shoe store here.

Oh, and thanks for all of help from everyone else.

Jess, you are right I do need to be a little more adventurous! laugh.gif

Cute dress I love it! thumb.gif I like those shoes too but I agree they might not go the best with the dress. I feel for you - I hate trying to find matching shoes with any outfit. rolleyes.gif

Thanks everyone. smile.gif Yeah, a lot of times I just don't have the best fashion sense.

I don't keep up with all styles. I just mainly wear what I am comfortable in.

Well, I did buy me a new pair of shoes yesterday, hopefully they will work ok.

You might even be able to pull off a cute pair of white flip flops with some sparkles on them.........Or those ballet type shoes everyone is wearing now.

The shoes that you bought are cute though...Just not with that dress.

Not sure what you're wearing this for (I'm always a little out of the loop), but those shoes definitely will take away from the dress. I'm not much of a high heel person either, but sometimes you gotta sacrifice a little, kwim? rolling_smile.gif Why not go with a kitten heel- they're very low, but still convey a feminine dressiness. Go with something backless- you'd be surprised how comfortable they can be.
Good luck, have fun wherever you're going.

I like the dress, it's cute. I think a pair of white sandals or brown wedges (as Nichole suggested, those were cute too) would go.

You said you bought a new pair...can we see?

Love the dress -- great job. I agree that the shoes are cute, but not with the dress. Let's see the second pair you chose.

When's the wedding again?

Ok, here are my new shoes...

user posted image

Yes, those are a size 10 ohmy.gif I usually wear a size 9 but they were to small in this shoe. dry.gif In my defense though my feet got bigger a little each time after I had my kids. I use to be able to wear a 7.5 before I had Kaitlynn.

I have on more thing I need to get to complete this dress and I should be ready for Saturday. I hope I will look ok. smile.gif
