thumb.gif Emily has been very respectful and her behaviour has done a complete 180. I'm not saying things are perfect, but they are better. Her dad and I have talked to her and there have been some changes done in the house. The first is that there are no more laptops in the house, so all the computers are in the dining room. We have discussed chores and Emily is helping out around the house.

Last Thursday Emily texted me from the house, she told me that she thought there was something wrong with herself. Claudia spilled water on her backpack and she flipped out (as she put it) yelled at Claudia and got herself so worked up that she didn't go to school. I asked her if she wanted to talk to someone and she said she did. She agreed to do and intake at the Children's Centre. That was done on Tuesday and while there is a wait list, she can go on and see a counsellor on call on the first and third Wednesday of the month. This a huge step for her and I let her know how proud I was of her. Mark said she did very well with the intake. I spent the day with her last Thursday and we talked about everything. I didn't let her get off so easy though, after all she did miss school. She helped me clean out the porch and helped with the laundry and dishes. She appologized to Claudia and since Thursday there haven't been anymore outbursts. She is heading to Edmonton on Monday to spend the March Break with my sister and her cousins. She is very excited and looking forward to it. She continues to do very well is school, still a straight A student.

Mark and I have been talking off and on about everything that has happened and we have made some decissions. Once I move back into the house, I'm more confident now that I will be able to manage problems that do arrise with the kids.

Thank You everyone for all of your support and I do appologize for being so deffensive. I was very angry with myself and I realize now that you were all trying to help. hug.gif
