hey tlc dad.....when is it that u start to feel like a dad? i mean i kinda do having 2 step sons and all, but since its my first, i was just wondering when u first feel that feeling?i mean i love my 2 step sons alot, guess im just courious.

Hi Jamie,
Hard to explain really... but I guess the very first time was when I was sitting down at the hospital holding Ashley and with her eyes staring up at me even only being less than a day old. I would have to say that was the first time I felt like a father. I just could not believe I could love something so small, so soon and soooo much. I will always have something to remind me of that moment in time as well. My wife (MommyToAshley) took a picture and also made a mouse pad of the picture for my birthday with the words happy birthday daddy. |
