MIL just called me (she has the kiddos today), why she waited to call me now when it's too late to take her to the ped I don't know, but she said that Aubrey has been throwing up all day nomatter what she gives her, milk (throws it up), water (throws it up), she even gave her watered down Sprite (I think she confused it with Ginger Ale for helping stomach nausea ) and she threw it up as well. She said her eyes have dark circles around them and she is just laying around wanting to do nothing and will not let her go at all. Now she has had a runny nose the past few days but I just attributed it to allergies, I mean she has allergies really bad and Hanna's has been acting up too, it's just that time of year. She also said she has a low grade fever. I really hope she doesn't have that nasty rotavirus (Hanna got it once and it was awful) Please say your prayers that it's just a little 24 hour bug and it goes away.

Oh Leann- it does sound like the Roto Virus. The lethargic behavior. You should take her to the ER asap. Since Aiden was a puker we thought it was that and the flu and he ended up being admitted to the hospital. You need to catch it before it gets worse. I hope I am wrong...but i wouldnt take the chance. You dont want her to get dehydrated.

That is what I am thinking. Hanna has t-ball practice at 6:00, I just told MIL to keep giving her as many fluids as she could and then I'd probably end up taking her to the hospital. -------------------- LeaAnn, wife to Brian (05/21/2005)

Oh no, poor girl. I hope she is feeling better by now. Have you tried pedialyte? I wouldn't be as concerned about the throwing up as I would be the lethargic behavior. I'd probably take her in just to be safe.
Please update us when you can and let us know how she is doing. -------------------- |
