It's about a love story spanning generations supposedly - so far, I don't even really know who the main character will be since it can't possibly be the one who is featured so far... I don't know. Oh, and they are in the process of making a movie about it. Ack! I just went to Amazon to get the summary and got WAY too much info! Don't do it!! He shows up at the funeral of her husband 51 years later to profess his love for her....... The character in the beginning of the book is the husband of this woman. He is a doctor.

Now see I hate books like that.

For my fiction writing class I was suppose to read Edgar Allen Poe's The Cask of Amontillado. It was so wordy I had no idea what he was saying. I can't handle that. I read b/c I enjoy it. I skipped that story :B

That is one of my favorites!!! I love that story!

I have been wanting to read that one. I'm finishing Jodi Picoult's newest book, Ninteen Minutes. It is EXCELLENT! I love her books!

I have to return a book to the library so I'll look for that one!

I liked " A hundred Years of Solitude" better than " Love in the time of cholera" but loved them both. He tends to write almost in prose , but that is what make his epic novels epic in my mind. I need to re read it, it's been years!
