I have the worst diarrhea, actually it's more like yellow, orange or green mucous, but I'm just calling it diarrhea. Anyway, how do you stop it? I'm sick of going to the toilet so much

General advice when you have bad diahorea (not even gonna try to spell it) is to not eat anything as it's symptomatic of something like food poisoning. So dont eat until it's better, just drink plenty of fluids, you can get some stuff over the counter at your pharmacy which is a drink containing glucose and electrolytes which will keep you going, there's also a version of this drink which helps to stop diarhorea too, I think it's called dioralyte, well it is in this country anyway.
Edit: Just rea;lised you're actually pregnant, so not eating isn't an option, I'd just try this dioralyte stuff, make sure it's ok first the pharmacist should know. This post has been edited by McKenna on Nov 24 2006, 12:26 AM -------------------- |

BRATY Diet. Eat these things because they are easy on your stomach and binding.
Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast (dry) Yogurt...lots of yogurt. It will help get your intestinal tract back into balance. Then lots of fluids. The main danger with frequent loose stools is dehydration. Especially important when pregnant. -------------------- Cary
