I returned to work part time though, instead of full time. That was the only way I would go back. Mommyto Ashley: Yes, 1 year mat leave is standard in Canada. It just recently changed a few years ago from 6 months to one year. There was talk about it going to 2 years, but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. I know how lucky we are to have the option of staying home for a year. I couldn't imagine having to return after a few months!! ((HUGS)) -------------------- ~Sheri~ Mama Bear to Jare-Bear~ 01/11/02
