We're at 6 months and still no AF...he's not taking solids either...so maybe that's why. I didn't get AF back until Wil was 8.5 months, when he stopped BF completely. But from how Wesley is going, I think I'll be BF a lot longer (which I'm happy about). smile.gif Is it possible to not have an AF for 2 years? Is that healthy? I'm already over the 1 year mark...I got PG with Wesley in September 05. It's strange when you think about it!

Sorry, I'm totally rambling... wacko.gif

Yes it is possible to go years without AF. Some people never have a period the entire time they are BF until baby is completely weaned and some have their regular periods from right after the baby is born while they are BFing. Every body is different. I am right where you are. DS is 8 months and still no AF. Enjoy it while it lasts, I am. biggrin.gif

If it makes you feel any better, I'm currently on my 2nd period since Naomie was born in October 2005.

Wow, how coincidental - I'm on my second period since Erin was born in November 2005!! I must say, I did NOT miss AF!!

Yeah, well sorta. She has good days and bad days... some days she will nurse about 6 times, and other days, she won't nurse at all. Others, she'll only nurse once.

I had almost completely weaned her about 2 months ago...she had gone about 3 days without nursing at all... hmmm...coincidence? lol

I got pregnant in December of 01 with K and had three cycles before I got pregnant with Lauren in April 04. I've had 4 cycles since I had her so yes, it's fine.

You lucky duck! I got AF back 2 months after Andrew was born - BF'ing exclusively. I would love to not have AF for months on end without being pregnant. Enjoy it! happy.gif

Still bf'ing in the morning and night but bottles during the day. AF seemed to return just as we were starting the weening. Although she was eating solids at 12 months, she was still primarily nursing. And I believe she would still nurse all day if I let her, but she takes her bottles like a little champ! smile.gif
