Our Daisy troop will be visiting our local fire station next wednesday. I'm trying to think of something we can take the firefighters when we visit. Baked goods?? A coupon for dinner out??? Anything else you guys can think of?

We will be making a thank you poster at the following week's meeting and taking it to them for their hospitality.

I think a nice homemade sign that says "Thank you for your service" or some type of similar message and some chocolate chip cookies would be a winner.

When BIL and his squad or crew or whatever they are laugh.gif came to do the twins' bday party a few years ago I gave them a book of coupons for free pizza, they were thrilled, especially the guy that usually did most of the cooking rolling_smile.gif

Basically, if it's bad for you, firefighters love it. rolling_smile.gif blush.gif
Baked goods or coupons for local eateries, especially those with take-out would be well received. Of course, none of that is really necessary. Mostly we just love to see the kids having fun with the apparatus and getting interested in firefighting and fire safety.
