wavey.gif Hello - all. It's been a long time but I'm in need of help and know where to come for that!

Lauren's now 2 1/2 now and about 2 weeks ago we removed the pacifiers baby.gif from the house. She did okay for about a week. Now she's having trouble soothing herself to sleep. She's waking up lots during the night and calling for us and once we come in and tuck her in, she usually goes to sleep but it's not long before she calls again. She also is waking up earlier in the morning which is causing this working mom to feel like a zombie!

She still has two lovies, her blankie and baby that she likes to carry everywhere but the pacifier must have really been helping her soothe herself to sleep.

Any suggestions on what to do now?

Thanks to anyone who has advice and I hope all are doing well. I see lots of new babies smile.gif

After you tuck her in for the night, just explain to her that's it's time for bed and that you won't be coming into her room anymore for the rest of the night. I'm sure she'll cry, but eventually she'll get that you aren't going to come running in every time she cries which is what she wants. Be strong and don't give in. hug.gif

Well Saturday was L-O-N-G. Last night we explained to her we would NOT being come back. She screamed, kicked, and cried for about 20-30 minutes but was quiet the rest of the night! Some sleep at last smile.gif

Way to go!! I'm so glad you were able to get some rest. Hopefully this is the beginning of more peaceful, sleep-filled nights. hug.gif
