Well we have been weaned for almost 2 months now. For some reason last night Annika was wanting "Nin Nin". I explained to her they were for babies and how she was a big girl now. She told me big girls need gum rolleyes.gif yes she got 1/3 piece of trident. emlaugh.gif At bed time she kept wanting to go to my bed and I told her she was sleeping in her bed. Well after about 40 minutes of her hem hawing around I finally just put her in her crib and had her CIO.

Tell me this is a phase. Tell me it's going to get better. emlaugh.gif wacko.gif

NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! emlaugh.gif emlaugh.gif

Well the sleeping w/ me was kind of my fault because when she was sick it was easier to have her in bed with me and a trash can beside the bed. It'll take a couple of days then she'll start again and be ok for another couple of days.

Thanks for the hug.gif ladies. Why's it got to be so hard? rolleyes.gif emlaugh.gif

you know during these hard times i have tried something new..
imagine she is 15 and just attempted to climb out her window to meet a boy..and you caught her and scolded her...thats why she is crying...that might help you from feeling so down in the dumps.
because sometimes these precious little bundles are going to drive us nuts..and sometimes we just want to scoop them up..
it wont be long until it is that way...
so enjoy this now.
you have done a great job with your breast feeding...

The same thing happened to us... Ashley was sick so we let her sleep with us. Then it was hard to get her into her own bed. I offered to rock her a bit before bed and then did the usual night time routine and off to her bed she went. Eventually, she went back to not wanting me to rock her before bedtime... I still miss that. sad.gif But, it happens everytime she gets sick, when she is feelign better again, we have to "kick" her out of our bed.

Hang in there - Olivia is 5 and lately I have been letting her go to sleep with me and DH puts her in bed - if he isn't working the next day he stays up alot later and even if he is in bed she is with us for awhile until she gets drowsy and then she goes in her bed - Now - I am a SLEEP NAZI - I will never have my kids sleep in my bed on a regular basis - not to say those who do are doing anything wrong - it just isn't my thing - well she is now used to going to sleep with me and its now time to deprogram so its not just a 2 year old - hang in there it will pass and then on to the next challenge hug.gif hug.gif

Good way to look at it. Thanks! thumb.gif

Dee it is so hard when they get sick isn't it?

I tried to rock Annika last night and she kicked me out of the glider and rocked herself with her quilt. Then I laid on the floor and was telling her a tale. She got down on the floor with me and snuggled up. I wanted to just lay there with her. Finalyl I jsut told her it was time for bed and enough was enough. I will see how tonight goes. Hopefully a bit better. I know it won't be 100% but maybe she will give me an inch. blush.gif
