The most I had with Kade and Carter was Braxton Hicks contractions. At 34w4d (Sunday), I was in the ER with what I was afraid was preterm labor. After what happened with Carter, I want to go to 38 weeks, if possible. Anyway, I was contracting every 5-7 minutes and they gave me a shot to stop contractions. One shot worked. Turns out there is no UTI or anything, either. I was only dilated to 1cm and my cervix is thick and firm. It was the same at my appointment on Tuesday. I'm so glad for that! It looks like I'm just gonna have to live with contractions. my regular OB was out, but the OB I saw said it's just because it's my third baby and I am late in the pregnancy. She gave me a prescription for meds I can take for the contractions as needed. It seems like I have contractions at night worse than in the day, but I have them different times during the day.
SO, at least it wasn't pre-term labor and I am now 35w2d I have a groin pull on my left side and I get it every pregnancy. I pee every hour of the night (seriously!) and contractions make it even worse. This is the first time I have been ready for baby to get here. I'm pretty miserable, especially with running after two toddler boys all day. I'm getting too old, ladies. BUT I will cherish these last few days and enjoy it. I ALWAYS miss the movement and having baby all to myself. I'm sure this will be no exception! -------------------- |

Only a few more weeks dana! Are you a good water drinker! I am terrible and was worse pregnant. They say gallons of water fix just about everything!
