Vonage Phone Service, anyone have it?

We're a Who Dat family! Group: Moderators Posts: 4,458 Member No.: 2,459 Joined: 9-September 05	Does anyone here use Vonage Broadband Phone service? What are your thoughts on it? I'm so sick of BellSouth....it is constantly going out for no reason at all. It's out right now and there wasn't a cloud in the sky and it's 70 degrees. Unregistered	Sorry, we have Verizon. It is the package with the phone and dsl. Dsl is only 19.95 a month because we have verizon phone...

One caveat, the alarm companies will not monitor your system if you have Vonage. They say it has to be a land line phone. You may want to check with any systems you have hooked up to the phone system to verify that they will work with Vonage. Satellite TV, Monitored alarm systems etc. -------------------- Cary

Fabulous, thanks. We don't have an alarm so that's not an issue! I think we'll order our converter tonight!!!
