Dee Dee I am so sorry I didn't get the chance to call. They would not allow me to use my cell phone. I knew I would be coming home today so I thought I would just post then.
 I will post the birth story when I get the chance.... Ethan was born at 3:55 pm on March 5. Weighing in at 8 lbs 2 oz and 20 inches long. He was 15 days early. Imagine if I would've gone to 40 weeks!!!  He still looks very tiny to me, but I guess it is b/c his features are so small.I was able to have a vaginal delivery as the version was successful. Ethan and I are both doing very well so we were released today. Just 24 hours after giving birth. I did not have an episiotomy or tear so there are no stitches. The swelling has gone down and I haven't had any pain other than a headache last night. I was able to get plenty of rest last night. Ethan is breastfeeding so well and hasn't had any thing other than my milk. I am so happy about that.  He is an excellent baby. The nurses in the nursery were very sad to see him go. He is so beautiful and so perfect. I feel so blessed that things went so well. I am so in love.  What is even better is that Maddie has been the perfect angel through all of this and hasn't had one fit....yet!  Tomorrow I will have pictures to post. I better go get some rest. I am typing this one handed. Sorry if it doesn't make much sense. |
