I am sitting here reading posts. All the funny things our kids say/ do that we all get a great laugh at. I wonder what they would think if they read some of our posts where we are all LOL.
Makes me wonder what my mother said about me when I wasn't around. She didn't have the oppurtunity to just type it out she had to say it outloud. LOL -------------------- Holley~ Loving wife to Shawn, (03/22/03), stepmom to Brandon (5/23/88), mom to Annika Lily (12/28/05).

I would be certain that my kids would probably think that i need to get out more. Humoring ourselves at their expense... well that is insane! but who can resist, telling stories and laughing (along with others) at everyones children? I cannot.

Holley, it is so funny you would say that, my 14 yr old often says to me --- You are not talking about me on that message board are you?
Also, funny story: my mom had 8 friends that would get together for Bridge once a month. They started when I was about 3 or 4 so these 8 women and their kids grew up knowing that our moms got together on Weds. nights once per mo. It was our job to eavesdrop on the moms if the card game (although they rarely played cards) was at our house. We would often get together with a kid from whoevers house it was at the night before and find out what our moms had talked about. We'd also 'interigate' our moms to see what we could get out of what gossip they brought home from the night. By the time I was in high school, I remember a friend getting on the bus and saying "ok what did you find out? Here is what I learned." This is a funny memory for me. Also now that I think about it, these women had alot of kids. Lets see I can count them---- 44 Kids. So we are all out there now talking about our kids. -------------------- Anne Marie Mom to Billy & Mary Beth Wife to Lee |

That is too awesome. I sure hope Annika never catches on to this message board. She's probably in there taking notes right now. LOL. I hope the mom of the 2 year old isn't part of this message board since we have all laughed. It was at my expense though. That is a story that she can use to "blackmail" him later in life. LOL My mom still brings up things that I said as a kid. "Life it too short not to laugh." -------------------- Holley~ Loving wife to Shawn, (03/22/03), stepmom to Brandon (5/23/88), mom to Annika Lily (12/28/05).
