I was hoping to come in here all excited and let you all know that I was able to see my favorite visiting OB today (he is the wonderful Christian OB who was in town when I went into the hosp to have my last baby, Zach... and I try to have him do my care when he is going to be visiting) but sadly, instead I have to come and say that my fears and suspicions were correct....

Doc couldn't find a heartbeat today (I should be 11 weeks LMP today) and I wanted him to check me because it seemed I wasn't getting bigger, my fundal height seemed suspicious and Doc found the same things I did... I have indeed lost the baby, as confirmed by a late afternoon US. I will likely miscarry the baby sometime in the next three weeks or so. sad.gif

I'll be taking a small break from here eventually but will be sticking around for the long haul -- just need to get through these next few weeks...
I would write more but I am just not feeling up to it. sad.gifsad.gifsad.gif

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand if you need a break, but like TLCDad said, we are here if you need someone to talk to or need a hug (at least a virtual one).

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thank you all... I just wanted to say that your support and kind words mean so much to me. I am really getting nervous about completing the miscarriage when it happens... I'm really praying and hoping all will go very well for me. We're naming this baby Naomi, meaning "pleasant" because this was such a quiet, pleasant, gentle pregnancy while baby was alive within me. God is Good. He is on the throne and I am thankful for the comforting He is giving us even as we feel the loss so tenderly right now. sad.gif We're going to plant a crab apple or other flowering-type tree for baby Naomi.

Blessings and love and thanks for all the support. Will be around again soon. the next few weeks will likely be rather difficult here.

I really like the name Naomi...and the tree is a really nice tribute.

I will keep you, Naomi, and your family in my prayers. Please come here anytime you feel up to it. I will be thinking about you every day!
