OKay I'm so excited because we get to go have our sono tomorrow to determine the sex. Hopefully this lil bean sprout is going to show it's stuff! My appointment isn't til 11:30 am central time tomorrow...but I'm too excited and want to see what other guesses are. Symptoms: had morning sickness through first trimester (didn't have this with my dd..just a tad bit of nausea with her) gaining weight astronomically (gained 25 pounds so far ). I gained a total of 40 with Kylie. there is no rhyme or reason to the distribution of pounds...except my butt seems to be the winner at this point. craving sweets like MAD MAD MAD....craved them with DD but not as badly. Felt kicking (light) at 15 weeks and have had some whopper of kicks already at 16 weeks. Edit to add that Chinese gender chart says girl and it said girl for Kylie and was right. Can't think of anything else. |

Posted by: mama3x Nov 3 2004, 12:58 PM |
I voted BOY! I don't know why - well, part of it my experience with the Chinese chart: it was correct for my 1st but not my 2nd and the morning sickness. I craved more sweets with DS and this one too. Let us know!!!!! |

With all the problems you've had I'm saying boy! Just because you said it's been completely different this pregnancy with your last! I'm so excited for you and I can't wait to find out what you are having! |

Yeah I guess I didn't mention all the spotting I've had that I didn't have the first time. The only thing I've noticed that is the same with this pg as the last is my belly looks the same so far....no real difference to clearly tell a boy or girl. |
Posted by: Maddie&EthansMom Nov 3 2004, 01:51 PM |
I don't know why, but I have the feeling it is a girl. If baby bean is shy you will know for sure it is a girl. Boys are always so proud to show their equipment. Girls are a little more reserved. Whatever the outcome tomorrow, I hope you are happy and baby is still healthy as ever. |

Well I voted boy, but if itsn't a boy then it is definitely a girl. lol Whatever you have I hope he/she is healthy and you have a fantastic u/s! |

You made me think of what DH said about *if* it's a boy (course he has a gut feeling it's a girl). He said "oh you'll know it's a boy because his thing will be big and you will CLEARLY be able to see it". MEN! |

I think it's a girl! |

Posted by: Jamison'smama Nov 3 2004, 05:48 PM
hmmm...your belly looks the same? Then maybe I should switch and say girl. My belly looks COMPLETELY different--much higher and out front than the last pregnancy. Can't wait to find out!! |
Posted by: ediep Nov 3 2004, 06:05 PM |
I say girl |
Posted by: coasterqueen Nov 3 2004, 06:48 PM
You know at this point I can't really tell. I mean I look at my body and the 25 pounds I've gained already and all I see is a blimp...my perception of my belly is probably far off. I keep asking DH if he sees a difference and he looks at me with this foreign look. |

Posted by: kimberley Nov 4 2004, 07:18 AM |
Karen, i carried both boys differently. you couldn't tell i was pg with Jacob until the 6 mo and then he rounded out and carried high. James carried lower but all the way around. that is why i thought he was a girl. you never know |
Posted by: coasterqueen Nov 4 2004, 07:20 AM
Yeah my mom said that my sister and I were two TOTALLY different pregnancies that there was no way to know "for sure" if my sister was going to be a boy or a girl. She also carried us differently as well. So hopefully this lil bean is going to show us the stuff and let us know in a few hours or I'm going to go nuts til next month! |
