I thought this was just amazing. I didn't know that they'd improved the drugs to make it possible to fight cancer during pregnancy. I'm sure it was terrifying for them... but how wonderful that they can do this now! I don't know if this is a relatively new thing or if I've just been living in the dark ages but either way it's awesome!

Wow! I just read this. I had no idea that they could administer Chemo to mothers who are pregnant. The fact that the molecules of Cytoxan and Adriamycin too large to pass through the placenta is fascinating. She is a lucky lady to have been diagnosed, and treated during her pregnancy with no adverse effects to her baby. Simply amazing.

That really is inspiring! It's about time meds were made to help fight cancer while a woman is pregnant. Maybe this will enable more cancer fighting meds to be made.
