I have just been so stressed out these passed few weeks, I cannot take anything.

I cannot stand my job, my husband can't do anything right, I feel like I have no friends, I feel fat and disgusting, blahblah.gif blahblah.gif blahblah.gif

What's even worse, my husband gets to stay home with our son, and now I feel like my baby is slipping away from me, and needs my husband whenever I get home from work. It's like, I take him into his room to play when I get home, and he cries and cries.

That just makes me feel the worse, because I feel like my baby is the only thing that's making me happy right now.

Oh, I know how hard it can be. I also work full time and when Aiden was young I would get home and he would cry all night. I truly do know what you are going through. Is Sam a fussy baby with his dad also? If not it may just be by that time of day he is starting to already get tired. I remember just sitting there crying all night because no matter what I did he would cry and carry on. How about getting some one on one time with Sam by joining some kind of group. Aiden and I just started going to Kindermusik. We both love it. It is so nice to have time for us to play. If you keep feeling down you should talk to someone.

Yes, talk to your OB. They are very familiar with PPD and can prescribe meds if you feel that is the route you want to take. Don't be ashamed for feeling this way. Having a new baby is a huge adjustment, especially if you have to go back to work. I can't imagine that stress on top of it all. hug.gif hug.gif hug.gif
