We thought it would be a fun idea for all our newbies to fill out a "Getting to Know You" survey. Just copy and paste the questions below into a new message and feel free to add pictures as well.

i'm a farmers wife, auction clerk, and work in a greenhouse, along with relief milking (milk other farmers cows).
pets: cats, dogs, cows etc
luxury item: i know you'll all laugh but i would take a cow, u get milk, food and clothes

Ahh!! Ok, well in that case I was a WOHP up until my 34th week of pregnancy. I had a major car accident and the dr. has made me stay home since then because I was on my feet alot at my job. After the accident, I started having contractions, but they got those to stop with pain killers and muscle relaxants. So, evidently, I could see on the monitors that I was having contractions, but I couldn't feel them. My mother says that another factor into me not being able to feel the contractions was because of all of the other pain I had running through my body. I bruised some ribs, bruised one of my breasts (from the seatbelt), and sprained my ankle. They did a 3D ultrasound on the baby to make sure that there was no internal tearing of the womb. As it turns out, the baby was ok, it was just me who was all banged up. Well, I didn't mean to make a short story so long, I just wanted to clarify. Thanks!!!

I also have a question to anyone who can give me an answer, where do you go to meet other parents with children? In england we have parent and baby groups but i cant find any information about where or if you have these. I live right in the center of palm springs. Does anyone have any idea where i would find out about a baby group or similar. Im in dire need of meeting some people as all the people i have met through my husbands job dont have children,basicaly i need some friends

and some little friends for my son... lol that doesnt sound too desperate i hope..
