It's only $7.50 per pay period (twice a month). I'm trying to start eating healthier and exercise. Some of the threads regarding fast food on this site got me really thinking about how poor my diet was/still is and how I need to change things for myself as well as what I feed my family. Ultimately I'm the only one who cooks so I feel it's time for me to step up and educate myself about foods and how they affect your mood, how tired you are, etc.. I also need to exercise to gain some muscle tone in the ab area wink.gif as well as to feel more energetic during the day!! Wish me luck guys. It's going to be a long hard road, because I'm definitely not disciplined when it comes to this stuff.

Good luck. It would be awesome to have a gym at work.. where do you work? If that is a nosey question I am sorry. People sometimes talk about stuff in here and I am clueless.

Awesome LeaAnn!!! thumb.gif

I hope you really notice a difference in the way you feel. I know I do when I work out.

A great book to learn about how certain foods affect you is YOU: On a Diet. I love it b/c it's written by doctors who actually know what certain additives and foods can do to your insides. wink.gif I cannot speak their praise enough. I LOVE this book. It was life changing for me.

I work for a wine and spirits company. We make Jack Daniels, Early Times, Finalandia Vodka, Southern Comfort, Bolla Wines, Little Black Dress Wines, Korbel Champagne, Chambord Liquer, Woodford Reserve, Fetzer Wines, Sonoma-Cutrer Wines, Tuaca, Amarula, Casa Herradura...there is more, I can't remember all of them. We have a huge portfolio. This place is aewsome to work for, where else can you enjoy a glass of wine or a jack and coke at 4pm on Friday's? laugh.gif Although I'm more of a Malibu Rum Girl Shhh..... Don't tell anyone! I don't really drink much at our socials because I don't want to drink during the day and forget how to do my job laugh.gif much less than have to drive home in rush hour traffic even on one drink would not be fun! I started here in August of this year. It's awesome. I'll retire from this place thumb.gif

Wow. That place sounds cool. I try to let them let me drink here but they wont let me. I am glad you like your job so much, it is nice to go somewhere you enjoy when you have to be away from your children. Makes it a little easier.

Trust me LeaAnn, you'll notice a difference after just a couple short weeks. Good for you for taking such a positive healthy step.

On another note, I didn't realize you found a new job. I'm glad you're enjoying it so much.
