I'm going to get my hair done on Friday afternoon. I love my hair, but I need a bit of a change. Right now my color is a chocolate brown which I love, but I think I'm going to get some highlights in it. I'm scared to death of cutting my long hair, but I want to go somewhere in between what I have now and a bob. So if you could give me some ideas on the pics I'm going to post, let me know what you think. Please be TOTALLY honest here. You won't hurt my feelings. I'd rather have true opinions than go get something done and think it looks great, but doesn't. KWIM? Thanks! #1 |

I think I like 4 best |

I like #2. However, I really like #1 if you are into actually doing it. It looks like kinda a lot of work and I dont have the patience to spend much time on my hair. It def has to be low maintenance. Your hair looks really pretty as far as the color. I would love to have chocolate color hair. Mine is dishwater blonde. I would say dont go as light as Eva. Have fun. It is hair and will grow back. |

I like 2 and 4 |

They are all very cute - I don't know how much maintenance your hair requires right now in the morning, but all those would require a fair bit of work IMO |

That's partly why I like four, my hair is similar to it and all I do is blow it with a giant round brush and smooth it over with the flat iron |

#1 By far!!!! |

Wow, that's so hard!! I think I like #2 best for you. I like the body and the shorter style! Jen is right...they could require a lot of work depending on your hair type. My hair does that naturally...all I have to use is a round brush. |

4 looks the best to me...i have had my hair like that and i naturally have straight hair and when i woke up in the morning my hair would NEVER look right! the look is very possible but you will need hairspray and you might need a straightener!...i remember laughing at how funny my hair looked when one side would go wavy and the other would look norm. |

i like short hair though- it's just harder to deal with...i had a similar hair cut: |

I have layers now, long layers, but all I have to do in the morning is blow dry and flat iron and that's it. I thought getting layers, even when I had short layers would require me to do a lot more work, but it really didn't. |

Well, be sure and post pics. I get my hair done tomorrow and it's LONG overdue. |

I will. I'm chickening out the more I think about it. I gained 8 pounds this summer and my face is pudge pudge fat - and IMO a chub face and short hair doesn't mix. |

Hey now. I have a chub face, it's round, always looks chubby even when I weigh my lightest. And I've almost always worn short hair. Have you done one of those websites where you upload a photo and "try on" new hairdos? ETA, I like #2 |

I like #1. |

Yes. I've also had short hair when I had a chubby face and it made my face look fatter. When I was skinny and had short hair it looked great. Although I've never had short hair and it be straight - it was always permed really curly. |

There's the deal then. When you have puffy hair, it does make your face look larger. |

I love 4 and 5 best! I may have to copy you....I'm dying to do something new with my hair and I like your choices. Do you mind if I print some of them out? I would have to straighten my hair everyday to get it to look like those pics, but at least I can copy the length. Now if only I can get the courage to cut my hair........ |

No, go right ahead. I'm a bit chicken too, so I'm not sure what I'm going to do. |

Karen number 2 would be PERFECT for your face, with either number 1's coloring or the last one but definitely lighter!!! |
