why is it so much harder to lose weight now that I am older?
I lost 42 pounds with out even trying when I had jake with breast feeding..but with andrew it was cut short unexpectedly...so i was stuck with this baby weight..and its not coming off..9 months later i still look as preg as i did when he was born...
no matter how little I eat.....
what does age have to do with it?

I think part of it is slower metabolism.

And breastfeeding is just THE BEST method of weight loss - eat whatever you want and still drop weight!

I don't know but when you figure it out please let me know - be thankful you are only at 9 months post partum - I am at 17 - I lost a bunch breastfeeding but like you it didn't last long (the BF) so it didn't help much overall.....

See --I must be the odd one here,,,,,but I could hardly lose any weight when I breastfed. I didnt start to shed alot of weight until I was no longer breastfeeding and was able to really diet. wacko.gif

I really think alot of it is breastfeeding. Zander I breastfed for a lon time and lost 50 lbs like it was nothing. With Zavier it took about a year before I was back to my normal weight, and I only pumped for him for 6-7 months.
