http://www.fda.gov/medwatch/safety/2006/safety06.htm#Menactra occurring within six weeks of vaccination with Menactra have been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

I saw a preliminary report on this last year and it was just updated on the FDA's Medwatch list. Worst thing is, I'm pretty sure the only time they administer this vaccine is when a case of bacterial meningitis has been identified in the school or public community. I think I'd still have my child vaccinated under those conditions, because the incidence is low compared to the risk of meningitis, but this is SCARY.
